Battery Innovation Days 2025

This year, the BMS Alliance will be exhibiting at the Battery Innovation Days!

The fifth edition of the Battery Innovation Days (BID) will take place on 2–3 December 2025 in Graz, Austria, with full online participation also available. This annual event brings together leading voices from across the European battery value chain — including researchers, industry experts, and policymakers — to discuss the latest developments, trends, and innovations in battery technology.

Organised by BATTERY 2030+ and the  Batteries European Partnership Association (BEPA), in collaboration with the Batteries 1st and 2nd IPCEIs, BID offers a unique platform for high-level exchanges on scientific and technological progress shaping the future of battery research and innovation in Europe. Key topics will include advanced materials, cell design, manufacturing processes, recycling technologies, and sustainability, with a strong emphasis on industrial impact.

The two-day programme will feature expert presentations, panel discussions, and extensive networking opportunities. Participants will also be able to explore exhibitor booths, meet promising young researchers, and attend the Battery Young Research Award ceremony, which honours outstanding academic contributions to the battery field.

Whether working in research, industrial development, or policy, attendees will find valuable insights and opportunities to connect with peers from across Europe.

In addition, NEXTBMS, BATMAXENERGETIC, and NEMO will join the conference to showcase their advancements in physics- and data-based battery management for optimized battery utilisation.

Further information and registration details for Battery Innovation Days 2025 are available on the event’s official channels.
