NEXTBMS has completed Task 3.1 of Work Package 3, focused on developing a new battery module for its demonstrator. The module features Generation 3b prismatic cells with NMC chemistry, a capacity of 58 Ah, and integrated sensors for monitoring temperature, voltage, and current.
The design emphasizes durability, efficient power distribution, and thermal management for safe operation. This step brings NEXTBMS closer to enhancing battery performance and further advancing its battery management system (BMS).
